The First Nine Months - What an eventful first nine months for Beacon.

First of all, many thanks to our old clients who followed us en masse from QuBE. It continues to be a pleasure to work with you and your support has been vital to the successful start which our new company has made. Thanks also to our new clients who have introduced us to some exciting and interesting challenges and seen us visit some very attractive parts of the West Country in addition to towns and villages closer to home.

Personnel-wise, Charmain Hawkins joined us from QuBE on 2 June and Jenni Neilson followed suit on 1 September. The core team from our QuBE days is now back together and we hope to have exciting news about the further strengthening of the team in the near future.

Two of our longest-running projects, cb1 and Marconi have both now secured planning permission and the regeneration of two run down areas of Cambridge and Chelmsford respectively will hopefully now take place.

We moved to new premises in Stow-cum-Quy on 8 December 2008. Our aspiration to gradually grow the company and to continue to improve the quality of our work meant we need larger premises. The location, close to, but not right in the centre of Cambridge makes it an ideal base for us.
