Heath Mount School

Beacon have assisted in the securing of planning permission for six new classrooms and a arts performance space for the school.
These detached buildings have been sensitively designed by Cowper Griffith Architects to sit within the existing woodland context so that they will be screened from the main Grade I house and within the key views of the Historic Park and Garden. The works will enable the level of footfall within the house to be reduced and two of the principal rooms which have been divided in the past to form smaller classroom spaces are proposed to be reinstated back to their original size and the decoration details repaired accordingly. Listed Building Consent was secured at the same time for these internal works to the former Woodhall Park house. It is hoped the work on the new build element will commence later this year.
