A dual appeal won
13 October 2014 | Posted by Charmain Hawkins
Beacon Planning Ltd have won a dual appeal against the insertion of two roof lights on a curtilage listed building in Coton.
These elements were part of a larger package of improvement works to the property but were the one issue which the Local Planning Authority found unacceptable. In granting planning and listed building consent the Inspector considered the former barn structure had a far more domestic appearance and the 'the introduction of the two roof lights to the south elevation would not have an unduly adverse effect on the character of the building'.
