Approval granted in Hampshire!
5 December 2017 | Posted by Emma Sharp
Beacon Planning provided heritage advice to help secure planning and listed building consent in Wickham, Hampshire.

Beacon Planning were instructed to provide an initial heritage appraisal of a Grade II listed building to help understand its development and inform development proposals for the building.

The building itself had an C18 core but had been subject to several extension and alterations in the C19 and C20. The appraisal identified areas of lesser significance which was used to inform the architect’s plans.

Beacon then worked alongside AR Design Studio to create a carefully considered contemporary, single storey extension. Early engagement with the Heritage Officer at Winchester Council saw the scheme sail through.
